Southern Structures has been set up to provide the South with a specialist combined groundwork, basement and concrete frame contractor to deliver construction excellence to its clients.

Southern Structures is headed up by Luke Blanchard who has 16 years’ experience in the groundwork and concrete frame sector working on some of the South’s most prestigious and challenging projects. With a proven record of delivering safe and high quality work, strengthening working relationships and building trust, Luke is focused to continue his passion delivering construction excellence and developing his people.
The business' strengths are being involved from an early stage to share its experience and expertise in finding the most simple and effective solution with cost certainty; once at the construction phase our highly skilled and experienced team will deliver a well-planned, fast paced, safe and high quality product.

Luke Blanchard
Luke’s passion is to deliver high quality work all the way through the tendering to construction process.
Over the last 16 years Luke has been involved in various groundwork, basement and concrete frame schemes on the south coast where he has successfully brought the correct solutions and approach to the table to tackle the projects’ critical path challenges and constraints.
Luke likes working transparently and building trust with clients always looking at the bigger picture. Everything is possible and whatever it takes to get the job done will be done.
Neil Jackson
Neil brings a wealth of skill, knowledge and experience to the business having spent his entire career working on the south coast on either a concrete frame, motorway bridge or water treatment plant.
The majority of Neil's work life was with MJ Gallagher (20 years) working from formwork carpenter up to Contracts Manager, he then became Construction Director at Southern Concrete for 5 years where he and Luke Blanchard grew the business from £0 to £19m turnover in 5 years, cementing their reputation in the marketplace as reliable delivery experts that can be trusted.
